Last month, the parent company of Facebook introduced the capability to access Meta AI through the search bar in the Android beta version of WhatsApp.
The company has since fine-tuned this feature, offering a distinct experience in various countries worldwide.
In the latest beta versions of WhatsApp for both Android and iOS, the search bar now prominently displays the Meta AI symbol and prompts users with the text, "Ask Meta AI or search," as reported by WABetaInfo.
This enhancement allows users to interact with Meta AI directly through the search function, alongside searching for contacts, messages, and media, as indicated by the accompanying slogan and icon.
Moreover, the Meta AI button is now prominently featured in the upper-right corner of the screen, enabling users to initiate a chatbot dialogue with a single click.
Reportedly, WhatsApp is rolling out the Meta AI button and an enhanced search bar to multiple countries, including India. Unfortunately, specific details regarding the app version receiving these updates are currently unavailable.
Users eager to leverage these new features are encouraged to update their WhatsApp application to the latest version, especially if they are part of the beta testing channel.
